Honeycomb Advisors develops complete processes for third parties: from verifying that an idea is exploitable to putting the resulting product into production. Based in Barcelona, working on domestic and international projects.
A structure made of teams, not headcount.
Honeycomb grew out of a group of professionals with more than forty years of experience creating industrial products and systems. That track record is the reason the method is ordered the way it is: each of the four phases corresponds to a mistake we have watched cost money.
The structure is deliberately flexible. Rather than maintaining a fixed payroll that has to be kept busy, we assemble the team each engagement needs. That is what allows cost to match the resources the project genuinely requires, instead of charging on an overhead the client never asked for.
Independent teams, one per project.
Each project is assigned its own team, working in isolation from the rest. Information is not shared between engagements, and the same team is not assigned to projects in a sector where they might compete.
The team does not replace yours: it complements it. What we bring is accumulated experience in industrialising products and the judgement to decide at each phase, not the technical manpower your organisation already has.
Sustainability is decided in phase 03.
Every project is framed with sustainability criteria aligned with the development goals of the 2030 Agenda. In practice that is not a statement of intent: it is a design constraint that enters the production process while it can still be changed.
Choosing materials, sizing consumption, reducing scrap and deciding where the installation sits are decisions taken while the process is being costed. Taken there, environmental impact and unit cost usually improve together. Taken later, all that is left is to offset them.
